Childpeace Montessori School is seeking a Toddler After School Community Guide.

The Toddler After School Community Guide position is hourly, non-exempt, working from 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, and is benefit-eligible (medical, dental, and vision insurance).

Our ideal Toddler After School Community Guide candidate has an AMI Assistants to Infancy diploma and experience working with children 14 months to 3 years old. This position is a wonderful opportunity, also, for someone working towards their AMI diploma. The Toddler After School Community Guide collaborates with our two highly experienced Toddler Community Guides in order to meet the children's needs in the mid- to late-afternoon hours. The Toddler After School Community Guide is responsible for:

• Planning and presenting activities for children enrolled in the aftercare program
• Playground supervision
• Support of individual children
• Preparation and maintenance of the aftercare environment We are looking for candidates who: enjoy being with 1- and 2-year-olds, are consistent and calm, are eager to learn from a Montessori-trained lead teacher, enjoy detailed preparations of the room for the safety and engagement of the children.
