Montessori Nanny, Chelmsford

Montessori Nanny Wanted – Essex 40 hours + occasional evening babysitting and occasional family travel £31,200-£35,360 gross.

We are a warm, friendly and supportive family seeking a Montessori-trained or inspired, live-out nanny for a full-time position, equating to a 40-hour working week, occasional evening babysitting and occasional international travel. We are open to a nanny share equating to 20-hour working week for each nanny. We have two boys: one 2.5 years old, the other 14 months old.

We seek a kind, caring and nurturing nanny who is passionate about fostering an environment able to stimulate their development and promote their independence. We are looking for someone able to offer them nursery-style education, support their routines and their emotional, social, mental, linguistic and physical growth. We would like a nanny who can create simulating activities at home and the garden, and take the boys on daily local walks, playgrounds and to suitable classes. We would like our nanny to cook nutritious meals and keep the children’s areas clean, tidy and organised. Sometimes we are required to travel for work as a family and would like our nanny to join us. There is such a work trip planned in July-August to the US east coast, for example. Our nanny would need to be a non-smoker, licenced driver and, ideally, owner of their own car as we are based in a semi-rural neighbourhood. We have parking available for their car. We are open to negotiating terms and salary, based on experience and qualifications.
