Hero License, Austin

We are looking for an exciting, intellectual, passionate educator in the Austin, Texas area who enjoys working with preschool aged children. The ideal candidates would also have excellent communication and organizational skills, and work well with the education team.

This position, working with a cohort of children ages 0-3 is in the greater Austin, Texas area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Montessori Certification
• ECE Certification (preferred, but not necessary)
• Teaching Credential (preferred, but not necessary)
• Passion for Nature Based learning/teaching experiences
• Experience working with children
• Able to create emergent curriculum
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to multi-task

STRONGLY DESIRED:

• Experience working in a homeschool environment
• Mandarin, Spanish or Polish speaker
• Music teacher

GENERAL PURPOSE and DUTIES OF THE JOB:

The Teacher will be responsible for the day to day operations of the homeschool as well as the day to day learning of the students.

Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with children
Work Location: In person
COMPENSATION: Negotiable
