Eden Montessori International School, Albufeira

Eden Montessori International School is seeking AMI-trained guides and assistants to work with children in the south of Portugal - Algarve at Primary, (Children’s House) and Elementary levels. (starting sept 2024)

Requirements:

• AMI diploma/certificate at 3-6 or 6-12 level
• Committed to the implementation of principles and pedagogy of Maria Montessori
• Fluent English (oral and written) preferable 1st language
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Montessori environment
• Have authorisation to work in Portugal (EU citizenship or residence)
• Should work in a caring, respectful, and professional way
• Positive attitude, problem solver, honest and compassionate communicator
• Interested in collaborating with colleagues and contributing to building a positive adult community
• Welcomes feedback and wants to develop, learn, and improve professionally
• Demonstrate grace and courtesy at all times both with children and adults
• Should be organised, proactive and articulate.
• Portuguese as a 1st or second language is beneficial
