Bangkok is the destination of the prestigious 29th International Montessori Congress, offering an inspiring environment to an international audience. The International Montessori Congress has a direct and unbroken lineage to the first 1929 Montessori Congress under the leadership of Maria Montessori. The opening ceremony guest of honour, the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, will grant awards of recognition to “Education for a New World” contributors. 

Be refreshed, learn and share new findings! Hear about successful initiatives, and take inspiration from amazing ideas and deep knowledge from presenters and break-out sessions. The social programmes will allow for countless moments to network with other professionals, and identify opportunities for future collaborations, and volunteers are welcome.

While the official language of the congress is English, there will be simultaneous translations in Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish and French.
