Camillo Grazzini
It is with deep sadness that AMI announces the death of Camillo Grazzini. Camillo died peacefully at home on the 26th January 2004.
Camillo had a long association with the Montessori Movement having worked under the guidance of Mr Mario Montessori, the Director of Studies of the Bergamo Centre from the founding of the centre in 1961 until Mr Montessori's death in 1982. He was one of the original members of the Pedagogical/Material Committee in which capacity he made a unique contribution to the work of AMI. As a researcher his knowledge of every detail of our work was outstanding, whether it was of the materials, the history of the movement and of course Cosmic Education. In recent years he also served on the Sponsoring Committee. To all of us Camillo was synonymous with the Bergamo Training Centre and we extend our sympathy to Baiba Krumins-Grazzini, to the Grazzini Family and the Staff and Students of the Bergamo Centre at this time.
Camillo's funeral ceremony took place on the 28th of January 2004 at Santissimo Redentore in Seriate near Bergamo, Italy.
