Consistent with the theme to “Champion the Cause of all Children”, the Congress featured an exhibition of art items of which some will were raffled and others offered in a silent auction – in aid of two current Montessori projects for children; first, assisting Montessori in Thailand; and second, supporting Indigenous Montessori projects in Australia.

We thank the artists and companies for their generous contributions.

Beyond the Broken Wave
You are the surfer, sliding through the tube.  Behind you is the broken wave.  You acknowledge the brokenness, while you look forward to the unbroken wave, which is your destiny.  To your right, you hug into mother wave, as you lean away from the shards of glass-like water that crash down on your left.  The tears of salt water that drop gently off the top of the wave, remind you of your own costly, salty tears. You move forward, seeking to exit the tube, to find yourself out in the sunshine. You are now beyond the broken wave.  Take a bow!
